Architect/Intern Architect

JMA is seeking a junior level architect, designer, or intern architect with 2-4 years of experience working in an architect’s office, to work in the Louisville office.

Candidates for the position must have an undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture, and must be working towards licensure or be a licensed professional. The candidate should be able to demonstrate project experience in architectural construction document preparation. Preference will be given to those individuals with computer skills including AutoCAD, historic preservation experience, strong writing skills, and good graphic presentation skills.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of project managers/architects in JMA’s Louisville office, but will also be involved in multidisciplinary projects with JMA’s architects, planners, historians, archeologists, and materials conservators. Project work often entails travel throughout the United States and the ability to undertake fieldwork in remote terrain.
