Mr. Wade P. Catts, a Registered Professional Archeologist, is an Associate Director of the Cultural Resources Department, responsible for the oversight of cultural resources services in the firm’s West Chester and Philadelphia offices. He received a master’s degree in History from the University of Delaware in 1988 and joined JMA's staff in 1993.

Mr. Catts has over 25 years of experience in cultural resource management and preservation planning and is well-acquainted with cultural resources/preservation legislation and regulations. His project experience includes work for federal, state, and local governments, museums, not-for-profit foundations, and private clients. His principal area of concentration is the historical archeology of the Middle Atlantic region, with expertise in historic farmsteads, documentary research, material culture studies, military sites archeology, and African-American archeology.
