Tom Scofield, AICP
Principal Preservation Planner
Joining JMA in 2009, Tom is the Principal Preservation Planner and manages planning projects firm-wide using the wealth of knowledge and multidisciplinary expertise held by staff in all seven office locations. His academic training is in anthropology, and he is a graduate of the Middle Tennessee State University historic preservation program. He received professional accreditation from the American Institute of Certified Planners in 1993. Having spent much of his career working for local planning agencies in Florida, his experience covers a broad spectrum including resource identification and assessment, design review, grantsmanship, comprehensive planning, park master planning, restoration project management, and redevelopment.
