Lori Aument, LEED AP Senior Architectural Conservator
Lori Aument is an architectural conservator who brings an understanding of historic materials and architectural assemblies to diverse projects. Since joining the firm in 2001, she has developed working relationships with staff from JMA’s multiple disciplines. Her goal is to provide clients with practical and effective solutions for the stewardship of the built environment with documents that are clear and concise. She received an M.S. in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Examples of her recent work include the preservation of the Gruber Wagon Works, historic guidelines for the City of Baltimore, and the restoration of the Bradford County Courthouse dome.
Amanda D. Edwards, PA-AIC
Senior Architectural Conservator
Amanda Edwards has over a decade of experience in architectural conservation and holds a Master of Science degree in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work specializes in building condition assessments, non-destructive analysis of materials deterioration and failures, materials testing, finish analysis, historic structure reports, and preparation of architectural preservation plans. Ms. Edwards is a Professional Associate with the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) and currently volunteers as board member and design chair for the Barracks Row Main Street organization on Capitol Hill. Recent projects include the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress, Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and the Summerhouse on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.
