Alfonso Narvaez brings over twenty years' experience to overseeing JMA’s conservation services for all types of historic buildings and monuments. He holds a master of science in historic preservation from Columbia University and previously served in the Manhattan office of the North Atlantic Historic Preservation Center of the National Park Service.  Mr. Narvaez has specialized in building condition assessments, non-destructive analysis of materials deterioration and failures, materials testing including supervision of outside testing protocols, historic structure reports, and training in historic property maintenance.  Recent projects include the U.S. Treasury Building, Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Monumental Church in Richmond, Virginia.
