Alfonso Narvaez joined JMA in 1990 and has over twenty years' experience. He manages the firm's specialized preservation technology services for all types of historic buildings and monuments. These services include materials conservation and cleaning, building condition assessments, analysis of materials deterioration and failures, preservation maintenance programs and training, non-destructive evaluation, technical construction support services, and materials testing including paint and mortar analysis, masonry testing, and treatment evaluation. He has a master of science in historic preservation from Columbia University and is a graduate of Cornell University. Recent projects include the U.S. Treasury Building, Terminal A at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and Monumental Church in Richmond, Virginia.
